RIYADH: Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has met Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen at the Presidential Palace in the capital Baku.
During the reception, Aliyev awarded Al-Othaimeen Azerbaijan’s Order of Friendship, in appreciation of his efforts in advocating and strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and the OIC.
The OIC chief congratulated Aliyev on the liberation of Azerbaijani lands, in accordance with the relevant internationalism decisions and ministerial decisions of OIC.
Al-Othaimeen also met Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in the presence of members of the OIC contact group in Azerbaijan.
