RIYADH: The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and King Khalid Foundation (KKF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support youth nonprofit organizations.
The MoU aims to boost their social impact and enhance their contributions to realizing the national development goals set in Vision 2030.
Princess Nouf bint Mohammed, CEO of the King Khalid Foundation, and Misk CEO Dr. Badr Al-Badr signed the MoU.
Princess Nouf said that the cooperation with Misk aims to stimulate joint action between national organizations that support the Kingdom’s nonprofit sector.
She said: “King Khalid Foundation looks at partnerships as a means of supporting nonprofit organizations and providing them with tools and capabilities necessary to enable them to make an impact and create change in the society.”
The Misk CEO said his organization puts the empowerment of society, mainly the youth, at the top of its priorities. Al-Badr said the partnership with KKF is part of efforts exerted by Misk to build a vital system that enables young and talented Saudis to help build a better future for the Kingdom.
Both sides will exchange expertise and cooperate to strengthen the role of nonprofit organizations.
