Saudi Arabia’s Mawhiba, ALESCO launch initiative to back Arab talent

RIYADH: The King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in partnership with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALESCO) launched on Tuesday an initiative to discover and nurture Arab talent.
The initiative, launched under the patronage of Saudi Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, aims to invest in talented Arab youth.
Mawhiba, as an expert institution in the Arab world, will work on developing tools to identify talented youth.
Mawhiba Secretary-General Dr. Saud bin Saeed Al-Mutahmi and ALESCO Director General Dr. Mohamed Ould Omar signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization in an online ceremony.
The initiative seeks to discover talented Arab youth and will provide them necessary support to improve their skills and help empower them to become productive members of their respective societies.
The Mawhiba chief said through this agreement, the two organizations seek to strengthen partnerships with other organizations in the Arab world to promote science and education and encourage young talent to grow and prosper.
