RIYADH: King Abdul Aziz Public Library celebrated World Book Day, which is marked on April 23..
The activities were aimed at developing children’s and young people’s reading habits and consolidating a lasting relationship with books.
They were also designed to expand children’s reading and listening skills and broaden their interaction with stories and writing in ways that developed their intellect and knowledge, as well as working on embracing their talent for thinking, following up and developing creative awareness. There was a children’s theater, puppet shows, a free reading and visits to the children’s library.
