Thamer Al-Sudairi has been spokesman for the Diriyah Gate Development Authority since 2019 and its public relations communications manager since November 2018.
Al-Sudairi was also a member of the executive committee of the 2018 Saudia Diriyah E-Prix.
Before his appointment at the authority, he worked as a media and public relations adviser, and as a consultant at the CEO office of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.
Al-Sudairi held several positions at the Saudi Electric Co. (SEC), including banking relations and operations supervisor between 2012 and 2014, marketing and communication specialist between 2014 and 2016, corporate social responsibility manager between 2016 and 2017, and media affairs manager between 2017 and 2018.
His achievements include managing and leading an SEC campaign to raise awareness about electricity conservation, new tariffs, and manage and ensuring safety of electrical equipment at homes.
He also was the first corporate social responsibility manager at the SEC, and helped create and build the CSR function at the company. Al-Sudairi voluntarily helped charities build campaigns to increase employee satisfaction and loyalty through internal communications initiatives.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the King Faisal University in 2009.
Al-Sudairi did his master’s in public policy and administration from the California Lutheran University in 2011.
