125 businesses closed for violating health measures in Jeddah

JEDDAH: The municipality of Jeddah governorate and its sub-municipalities closed 125 commercial facilities for violating anti-coronavirus health protocols, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
A total of 4,271 inspection tours of commercial centers and facilities were carried out by the municipality to ensure adherence to coronavirus precautionary measures.
During the tours, 157 violations were detected and 125 facilities shut.
Authorities urged people to help maintain public health by reporting any COVID-19 breaches to the 940 call center number.
