RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet on Tuesday condemned attacks on the Kingdom by Iran backed Houthis from Yemen.
Ministers also condemned recent terrorist attacks at a cemetery in Jeddah, and the Kingdom's embassy in the Netherlands.
During Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting ministers congratulated King Salman on the sixth anniversary of his assumption of power.
At the beginning of the session, which was held virtually, King Salman expressed his sincere condolences to Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to the Bahraini people, on the death of Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The king also discussed the phone call he held with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari during which they discussed bilateral ties between both countries .
The ministers congratulated King Salman for the development and growth of the Kingdom during his prosperous reign.
Minister of Information Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, said the Council renewed the Kingdom's condemnation of the Iran-backed Houthi militia for violating international laws by launching booby-trapped drones towards civilians in the Kingdom.
Ministers expressed condemnation of terrorist acts in all forms, including the cemetery attack in Jeddah, and the shooting at the Kingdom's embassy in the Netherlands.
