Saudi health service gets over 10m calls

RIYADH: The Kingdom’s Ministry of Health’s 937 Service Center has received more than 10 million calls since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, with an average of 580,000 calls per week.
The ministry added that the center received 2.98 million calls in June, 387,396 of which were general inquiries, 120,356 appointment bookings, 277,172 coronavirus inquiries, 284,196 reports, and 855,137 medical consultations. Recently, the ministry has announced the launch of a WhatsApp service for the 937 center. In the first phase only the chatbot (interactive chat) service will be available via the center’s WhatsApp number 920005937.
