DAMMAM: Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam has been implementing preventive measures and health protocols at its Sharq Driving School since it reopened. The school has been receiving female trainees, both in the field and in administrative offices. The preventive measures taken include social distancing, using sanitizers and disinfecting all plazas, corridors, and entrances on a daily basis to reduce the spread of the disease and protect everyone.
Saleh Al-Rashed, the university and school chairman, stressed that the university was keen on providing a healthy environment free of disease and on following health regulations in the workspace and training areas.
He highlighted that all the school facilities, including imaging devices, computers and cars, have been sanitized. The fingerprint system has been canceled and replaced with signatures, provided each employee uses her own pen.
He said that a plastic barrier has been placed between the seats of the vehicle driver and the passenger in training cars in a manner that does not inhibit the instructor’s intervention in the event of an emergency.
“Signs of the precautionary measures are in place, cars are sanitized after every use, and plastic face masks are given to each trainer.”
