Locust swarms may assault the country's Kharif plants in late June and early July, KL Gurjar, Deputy Director of the Locust Warning Organization (LWO), said on Tuesday. "There is every opportunity that locust swarms will come from African nations along with monsoon winds rising from the Arabian Sea," he added.
